Project Overview
Ray of Hope, a crowdfunding charity passionate about their mission in helping people who have fallen through the cracks, engaged our team to revamp their website.

Our client approached us seeking a way to better engage donors, make the use of their website more pleasant, and encourage one-time donors to return. They also hoped to make the look of the website more cohesive and relatable to donors.

Our team of 4 worked with ROH on 3 sprints. In each sprint, key deliverables with discussed with the different stakeholders.
My Contributions
As research lead, my approach was to understand end-users' tasks and contexts, before scoping the problem to deliver a solution. As someone with background in marketing, I also identified opportunities for business and growth. With each iteration tested, opportunities for improvement needed to be prioritised according to impact and feasibility.

In addition to my focus on copywriting, content strategy, user journeys and user flows, I also worked with the team on the UX interactions, UI design and creation of the prototype on Figma.

ROH had a lot of content - much of it meaningful with lots of stories to share. They have a very admirable mission, interesting activities, and a very committed group of people.

The user research conducted identified that we need to put forward the most important and relevant points that donors were interested in, right where they might expect to find it, catering to shortening attention spans.

We also identified at a more critical goal would be increasing a sense of reliability and accountability with donors due to wariness of scams.

I am still in the process of updating this case study in between other projects.

If you are curious to find out more, I will be happy to chat with you on my research work, get excited over discoveries, and explain the thought process behind the solutions. I am also always glad to discuss ideas!

We brought the SUS score of the website from 75.9 to 89.1. It was a very rewarding project.
